Internship
Would you like to know how administration works in practice? Then you've come to the right place! Jena City Council offers around 150 internships every year. Whether it's a pupil internship, a compulsory internship during your studies or an internship as part of retraining or further education measures - in many specialist departments, this is possible free of charge, depending on capacity, if the internship is prescribed in your training, study or examination regulations.
It is important to us that everyone gets a fair chance: We are happy to advise young people with disabilities individually and look for suitable opportunities together. Just get in touch with us!
How to apply
The decision to offer an internship is made by the relevant specialist service or department on the basis of an informative written application.
First think about which area really interests you. Take a look at our administrative structure and select specific departments or teams (not just entire departments, please). We will then check whether an internship is possible there.
A voluntary internship is also possible - please note that this is limited to a maximum of one week per year.
